Ames Contractor Council November Issue

Awardees for outstanding contract performance nominated by their prime contractors on current contracts were able to provide capability briefings during the 2016 ACC Inaugural Small Business Showcase held on campus at NASA Ames Research Center.

Capability briefings by the Awardees were presented to over 40 participants. Lots of photos, networking and one-on-one meetings with NASA Ames and the primes were also provided during the ACC Small Business Showcase.

Awards of Appreciation on behalf of the Ames Small Business Council members were presented to the Small Business Council team members, that included Jere Fleming, Sandra Rasmussen, Sarah Jain, Jinesh Jain, Ron Lehmer and Saba Hussain, whose hard work and great attention to the details created a very successful event!

Nominated by the ARC Prime Contractors for outstanding performance on current contracts, each Awardee was invited to present their capabilities during the Small Business Showcase. Each company gave a 10 to 15 minute presentation for participants that included NASA government employees, civil servants, Small Business Specialists and contractors, both large and small for this well-attended event.

In an effort to increase the local Small Business contracting opportunities, the ACC is dedicated to fostering more awareness and increased participation of Small Business with the goal of reaching more diverse and innovative companies including Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) and Hub Zone entities.
